Withdrawal Policy

This policy outlines the procedures for withdrawing a submitted manuscript from the Multidisciplinary Journal of Healthcare (MJH) and the subsequent steps involved.

Scope

This policy applies to all authors who have submitted manuscripts to MJH for consideration.

Withdrawal Procedures

  1. Request for Withdrawal:

    • Written Request: Authors wishing to withdraw their manuscript must submit a written request to the MJH editorial office. The request should clearly state the reason for withdrawal and be signed by all authors.
    • Timing: Requests for withdrawal can be made at any time before the manuscript is accepted for publication.
  2. Editorial Review:

    • Assessment: The MJH editorial office will review the withdrawal request and assess its validity.
    • Notification: Authors will be notified of the decision regarding their withdrawal request within a reasonable timeframe.
  3. Withdrawal of Manuscript:

    • If Approved: If the withdrawal request is approved, the manuscript will be removed from the editorial review process.
    • If Denied: If the withdrawal request is denied, the manuscript will remain under consideration for publication.

Post-Withdrawal Considerations

  1. Future Submissions: Authors who withdraw their manuscripts may resubmit them to MJH at a later time, provided that the revised manuscript adheres to the journal's guidelines.
  2. Confidentiality: MJH will maintain the confidentiality of the withdrawn manuscript and its contents.
  3. Ethical Considerations: Authors are responsible for ensuring that their withdrawal request complies with all relevant ethical guidelines.

Exceptions

In exceptional circumstances, such as cases of plagiarism or serious misconduct, the MJH editorial office may take additional steps to address the withdrawal request.
