Licensing Policy

This policy outlines the terms under which authors grant the "International Journal for Conventional and Non-Conventional Warfare" (the "Journal") the rights to publish and disseminate their work. It aims to balance the needs of authors to disseminate their research with the Journal's goals of promoting scholarly communication and ensuring the integrity of its content.

Copyright Ownership:

  • Author Copyright: Authors retain copyright ownership of their work.
  • Journal Rights: Authors grant the Journal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to:
    • Reproduce, distribute, perform, and display the work in any format or medium, including electronic and print formats.
    • Create derivative works of the work, including translations and adaptations.
    • Sub-license the work to third parties for the purpose of archiving, indexing, or distribution.

Author Rights:

  • Moral Rights: Authors retain their moral rights, including the right to be identified as the author and the right to object to any distortion of their work.
  • Self-Archiving: Authors may deposit copies of their work in institutional repositories or on their personal websites, provided that they acknowledge the Journal as the original place of publication.

Open Access:

  • The Journal is committed to making its content freely available to the public.
  • All articles published in the Journal will be available under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license.
  • This license allows others to download, copy, and distribute the work, but only for non-commercial purposes and without making any changes to the work.  
     

Permissions:

  • Authors seeking to reproduce or adapt portions of their work published in the Journal for purposes beyond those permitted by the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license must obtain written permission from the Journal.

Confidentiality:

  • The Journal will treat all information submitted by authors as confidential.

Dispute Resolution:

  • Any disputes arising from this policy shall be resolved through negotiation or, if necessary, by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
