Waiver Eligibility
The International Journal of the Universe and Humanity in Islamic Vision and Perspective (IJUHIVP) may offer scholarly waivers to authors who demonstrate a strong academic need or financial hardship. The primary goal of these waivers is to ensure that valuable research can be disseminated, regardless of economic constraints.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for a scholarly waiver, authors must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Affiliation: The author must be affiliated with a recognized academic institution, such as a university, research institute, or government agency.
- Research Contribution: The submitted research must make a significant contribution to the field of Islamic studies, particularly in relation to the universe and humanity.
- Financial Hardship: The author must provide evidence of financial hardship that would prevent them from paying the publication fee without a waiver. This may include:
- Documentation of limited research funding
- Letters of support from academic supervisors or mentors
- Proof of low income or other relevant financial circumstances
Waiver Application Process:
- Submission of Waiver Request: Authors seeking a waiver should submit a written request along with their manuscript. The request should clearly outline the reasons for the waiver and provide supporting documentation.
- Review and Decision: The IJUHIVP editorial board will review the waiver request and supporting materials. The decision on whether to grant a waiver will be based on the author's eligibility and the merits of the research.
- Notification: Authors will be notified of the decision on their waiver request within a reasonable timeframe.
