Withdrawal Policy

The Journal of Non-Communicable Diseases (JNCDs) recognizes that authors may need to withdraw their manuscripts under certain circumstances. Authors can request withdrawal before the peer review process begins without any penalties. However, if a manuscript is under review or has been accepted, withdrawal requests must be justified in writing and are subject to editorial approval. Once published, articles cannot be withdrawn except in cases of ethical violations, plagiarism, or critical errors, in which case a retraction or correction will be issued following COPE guidelines. Repeated or unjustified withdrawals may affect future submissions. The journal ensures a fair and transparent withdrawal process while maintaining the integrity of scholarly publishing.
