Withdrawal Policy

The Social Sciences & Humanities Journal understands that, in certain circumstances, authors may wish to withdraw their manuscript from consideration. Authors can request a withdrawal at any stage of the review or publication process, but the request must be made in writing to the editorial team. If the manuscript has not yet been sent for peer review, the withdrawal will be processed without any further action required. However, if the manuscript has already been peer-reviewed or is in the process of publication, the request will be evaluated, and the author may be required to provide a valid reason for the withdrawal. In cases where the manuscript has been accepted for publication or published, the journal may consider the withdrawal request, but it may involve a retraction process. The journal reserves the right to deny withdrawal requests if the manuscript has already been published or if the withdrawal would conflict with the journal's publication integrity. Any withdrawal decision is made at the discretion of the editorial board.
