This research investigates the potential of media as a tool to educate youth about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Despite the growing awareness of the SDGs, a significant knowledge gap persists among young people, hindering their ability to engage in sustainable actions. This study explores the effectiveness of various media platforms, including social media, traditional media, and digital content, in conveying complex SDG concepts to a youth audience. By analyzing existing literature, conducting surveys, and analyzing media content, this research seeks to identify the most effective media strategies for enhancing youth understanding of the SDGs. Furthermore, the study examines the role of media literacy in empowering youth to critically engage with media messages and develop a deeper understanding of global sustainability challenges. The findings of this research will contribute to the development of evidence-based media campaigns and educational programs aimed at fostering informed and engaged youth who are equipped to drive sustainable development.
