Withdrawal Policy

The Mayo Journal of Communication World maintains a clear withdrawal policy to ensure transparency and ethical publishing practices. Authors are advised to withdraw their submitted manuscripts only under genuine and unavoidable circumstances. If an author wishes to withdraw a manuscript after submission but before acceptance, a formal written request stating valid reasons must be submitted to the editorial office. Withdrawal after the peer-review process or after acceptance is highly discouraged, as it wastes valuable time and resources of editors and reviewers. In cases where the withdrawal request is made after the article has entered the final production stage or is published online, a withdrawal fee may be charged to cover administrative costs. Unauthorized withdrawal or failure to respond to communication from the editorial office may lead to a temporary or permanent ban on future submissions by the same authors. The journal expects authors to be responsible and committed once the submission process has begun.
