Plagiarism Policy

The Mayo Journal of Communication World strictly adheres to a zero-tolerance policy regarding plagiarism in any form. Plagiarism is considered a serious breach of academic and publication ethics, involving the use of another person’s ideas, words, data, or findings without proper acknowledgment or permission. All submitted manuscripts are subjected to thorough plagiarism checks using reliable plagiarism detection software before entering the review process. If plagiarism is detected during any stage of submission, review, or publication, the manuscript will be immediately rejected or retracted, depending on the severity of the violation. In cases of minor plagiarism, the authors may be asked to revise their work with proper citations. However, repeated or intentional plagiarism may lead to a permanent ban from future submissions to the journal. The authors are solely responsible for the originality of their work, and it is their duty to ensure that proper credit is given to all sources used. The Mayo Journal of Communication World reserves the right to notify the authors' affiliated institutions in cases of serious plagiarism offenses.
