Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the landscape of public health by enhancing disease surveillance, improving diagnostics, and streamlining health services delivery. A community-centered approach to AI integration in public health ensures that technological innovations are tailored to the unique needs, values, and contexts of local populations. This strategy fosters trust, promotes equitable access to health services, and amplifies the voices of marginalized communities in the innovation process. AI-powered tools, including predictive analytics, natural language processing, and machine learning algorithms, have demonstrated effectiveness in tracking disease outbreaks, optimizing healthcare resource allocation, and identifying social determinants of health. However, these benefits are most impactful when developed through inclusive frameworks that prioritize community engagement, transparency, and ethical standards.
