Withdrawal Policy

The Journal of Dental Care (JDC) understands that authors may need to withdraw a manuscript from consideration at any stage of the publication process. However, withdrawal requests must be made in writing to the editorial office, clearly stating the reasons for withdrawal. If the manuscript has already entered the peer review process, authors may be required to provide justification for the withdrawal. In cases where the manuscript has been accepted for publication or published online, withdrawal may not be possible unless there are exceptional circumstances, such as ethical concerns or significant errors in the research. If a manuscript is withdrawn after acceptance, authors may still be responsible for publication fees, depending on the timing and circumstances of the withdrawal. The journal reserves the right to publish the withdrawal notice, ensuring transparency in the publication process.
