Copyright and Publishing Rights

The Journal of Dental Care (JDC) respects the intellectual property rights of authors and publishers. Upon acceptance of an article, authors retain the copyright to their work, granting the journal the right to publish, distribute, and reproduce the article in both digital and print formats. Authors agree to provide a license to the journal for the first publication, and all articles are typically made available under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. This allows others to share, distribute, and build upon the work, with proper attribution to the original authors. Authors may choose to publish their work elsewhere after the initial publication in JDC, provided that proper acknowledgment is made of its first publication in the journal. Any requests for reprints, translations, or commercial use beyond the scope of the Creative Commons license will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
